SM City Cebu welcomed the season of joy, love, and gift-giving and launched its “Sparkling Mallidays” holiday campaign as it lit its 30-foot Christmas Tree adorned with Christmas balls, ribbons, and gifts wrapped in traditional festive colors of green, red, and gold.
The impressive Christmas tree is surrounded by life-sized statues of the jolly Santa Claus, his dependable reindeer, and of course, the hardworking elves. During the event, guests were privileged to witness a special performance by the Cebu Boystown Handbell Ringers from the Sisters of Mary School Boystown who filled the mall with the merry ringing of Christmas tunes with the use of handbells.
Inspired by the magic and the message that Santa Claus brings, the lighting ceremony was made even more special with the presence of children under the care of Kythe Foundation. A magical train delivered gifts from Miniso and Toy Kingdom to these children living with cancer.
