In Rodriguez, Rizal, a woman, and a minor were arrested with P5.8 million worth of ‘shabu’ in their possession by elements of the Eastern Police District in coordination with the PDEA.
Raona Ala, 37, along with the minor, were arrested during the buy-bust operation in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal around 4:00 P.M. on Saturday. Seized from Ala were 680 grams of suspected ‘shabu’ worth P5.8 million, a digital weighing scale, and the marked cash used in the bust. Ala is now detained at the Marikina City Police Station, while the minor was sent to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the arrested suspects.
