Back on March 11, Korean news outlet Soompi revealed that PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed the K-pop group’s comeback in a phone call with Dispatch, saying, “SEVENTEEN will be releasing a new album next month.”
The group’s leader, S.Coups, surprised fans with the announcement of their comeback during the first night of their “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND” fan meeting. This makes the boy band’s first group comeback in nine months after the release of their fourth repackaged album, “Sector 17,” in July 2022. Earlier this year, the Seventeen unit BSS topped different domestic music charts with their comeback title track “Fighting!” which features Lee Young Ji and has gained traction as the anthem of blue-collar workers on their way to work every morning.
