“It’s about a carabao that was confiscated by the operating troops of our battalion, but it was not me that was actually involved, but the carabao was entrusted to our detachment, and so after some time, when the NPAs who were caught were set free, I was then a second lieutenant ma’am, and I was told, directed by our battalion, to dispose of that carabao,” Lelina explained.
“But later on, they made a complaint to the Commission on Human Rights, and so I was the one implicated.
