Self-employed Filipinos may make their own IDs so they could travel for work-related reasons while community quarantine protocols are in place, Malacañang said Wednesday.

MANILA - Self-employed Filipinos may make their own IDs so they could travel for work-related reasons while community quarantine protocols are in place, Malacañang said Wednesday.

He made the statement as several areas are set to shift to eased restrictions on Saturday as the country continued to face the coronavirus pandemic. "Sa mga self-employed, puwede naman silang gumawa ng card nila at ipakita nila kung ano talaga ang gagawin nila at saang industriya iyon," he added. "'Yung mga allowed po magtrabaho sa iba't-ibang quarantine areas, they will be allowed provided that they are working in an industry that is allowed to operate," Roque said in a Palace press briefing.
