The 39-year-old Overseas Filipino Worker allegedly killed by her husband in a hotel here on Monday, Jan. 9, bore 300 stab wounds, police investigation disclosed.

MANGALDAN, Pangasinan —

The suspect, 41-year-old security guard Richard Acosta, faces a parricide case for the murder of his wife Marilyn, Lt. Col. Benjamin Zarate Jr., chief of police here, said on Monday night.“Hindi niya tinigilan na saksakin ang kaniyang may bahay, mula katawan hanggang sa paa, at may saksak din sa kaniyang leeg ,” Zarate said.A roomboy named ”Richmond” saw the suspect coming out of the couple’s room with blood on his body three hours later.

Responding policemen found the victim under the bed with blood on the floor and stab wounds in the body.“Maliit na tools, na may kutsilyo ang ginamit ng suspek ,” police said.The victim had just arrived from abroad and police said the motive of the crime could be jealousy.“May balak na rin na sumuko kaya sa tabi na po ng old PNP building na siya nakuha ng PNP ,” Zarate said.
