SEA Games: Fighting at home, veteran, top-class Pinoy boxers eye overall title

“Our rival has always been Thailand and nothing much has changed although Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia are also coming up strong but not as strong as Thailand,” Picson told ABS-CBN News. In the 2015 SEA Games, the Philippines won 5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in boxing to take the overall title.
