MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Environment and Natural Resources has ordered the management of golf courses in Metro Manila to conserve water amid the El Niño phenomenon and the continued drop in Angat Dam’s water level.

The bulletin covers 13 golf courses in the National Capital Region, which were ordered to use recycled water in irrigating their greens and fairways. There were no overseas Filipino workers injured or affected by the heavy rain and flashfloods that struck Indonesia, the Department of Migrant Workers reported yesterday.
