Sara, Rody in pro-Quiboloy rally calling for ax on PBBM

VP Inday Sara Duterte We were speakers this morning at the Association of Registrars of Schools, Colleges, & Universities - Technical Vocational Training Institution, Region 11 Annual Convention and 22nd Mindanao-wide Invitational here at the Grand Men Seng Hotel, Davao City. As secretary of the Department of Education , I shared the sector's plan to focus on the benefits of teachers, students, and the rehabilitation and rebuilding of infrastructure for schools nationwide.

The event, held at Liwasang Bonifacio on Tuesday night, was organized by supporters of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ preacher, who is currently under scrutiny in congressional hearings over various allegations of abuse. Former Biliran Rep. Glenn Chong addressed the crowd and suggested that President Marcos “should not return to the Philippines after his European trip.”

Duterte’s appearance at the rally follows previous instances where she has engaged in public dissent against the administration. In January, she was present in a rally against charter change, where her brother Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte also called for the resignation of President Marcos.
