Face-to-face interviews of 2,400 representative adults conducted from January 19 to 24, 2022 found that some 50% of the respondents would vote for Duterte if the elections were held during the survey period.
Duterte was followed by Senator Vicente “Tito Sotto III with 29%, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan with 11%, Doctor Willie Ong with 5%, and Representative Jose “Lito” Atienza Jr. with 1%. Falling behind were Emmanuel Lopez with 0.1%, Atty. Carlos Serapio with 0.1%, and former Akbayan Party-List Representative Walden Bellow and Rizalito David with 0.02% each.In terms of location, Duterte was the top choice in the National Capital Region with 40%, Balance Luzon with 36%, Visayas with 47%, and her bailiwick Mindanao with 84%.Duterte in November said she decided to runto serve the country. She is the running mate of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Results of the same survey found that Sotto was the top second choice of the respondents, with 35% saying they would vote for him if their top choice would not continue with their vice presidential candidacy.Some 21% of respondents were still unsure of their second choice — 3% indicated that they did not know who their second choice was, 17% said they had none, and 0.2% refused to name their candidate.
with a 66.1% rating, followed by former House Speaker and Taguig Representative Alan Peter Cayetano, and Antique Representative Loren Legarda with 58.2% and 58%, respectively.
