What's the basis of Vice President Sara Duterte when she said she would fix the country's education sector in six years if given P100 billion more? More in this in-depth report by Bonz Magsambol:

MANILA, Philippines – Just like her father, Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte made a bold declaration about solving an important issue. The daughter, this time, vowed to solve education woes in the country should the Department of Education be given an extra P100 billion for its 2023 budget.

“Much is at stake, and we cannot address our learning losses without sufficient resources. The government must also equip our teachers with the right skills and training and focus on programs that are student-centered,” PBED’s executive director Lovelaine Basillote said. To head the agency tasked to fix the country’s education system would not be an easy job. Experts have said that the country’s poor education quality is a result of decades of neglect and underinvestment.

Duterte has yet to bare her concrete plans for the education sector, except for adapting the Basic Education Development Plan 2030 that was actually prepared by the previous administration. It was the first long-term plan of the DepEd for basic education, covering formal education from 5 to 18 years old and non-formal education for youth and adults.

Si sara naman ngayon target niyo? Friends na ba kayo kay Junior? May gumapang ba na papel? No wonder Rappler is the least trusted media source. 🤮

Talk is cheap! Remember your tatay niya noon? By the way what’s with that ROTC? Lots of problems needed to prioritize!

Naalalako tuloy yong sabi ng tatay niya ' give me 6 months and i will eradicate the use of drugs', then 1year...after 6 years sabi hindi basta, basta matatanggal ang droga..... May similarity ba?

110 million Filipinos are not fools.First ,provide a definite plan & timeline. Official studies from reliable sources have determined that 20% of the govt budget is plundered due to corruption.

A leader or anyone cannot share what he or she does not have.

Deped is one of the problem. It is putting too much burden on teachers with unnecessary reportorial documents kaya kahit alas tres na nang madalingaraw nasa computer pa Ang mga teacher. Pag pasok Sa eskwela antok na Wala NG energy.

Richeydarian She’s all talk and blabber. Until now not a single significant and worthy achievement.

Golden years....

I put my boy and his cousin in private school and they still don't learn what they should be learning!

The learning crisis listed below requires MONEY.

This 100 billion is for next election and gambling, no more, no less, diba VPPilipinas?
