Saludar is slated to leave the country two or three weeks before the fight with trainer Jojo Palacias and another assistant trainer.

REIGNING World Boxing Association World minimumweight champion Victorio 'Vicious' Saludar of Polomolok, South Cotabato will travel to Santo Domingo to fight undefeated Erick Rosa 'Mini Pacman' Pacheco right at his home turf in Dominican Republic on December 21.The 30-year-old Saludar said he has prepared well for this fight and has also studied the moves of his younger foe.'Oo, nakita nako iyang dula, walhon siya ,' said Saludar in an interview with The Manila Times.

'Dili man nako maipangako nga i-knockout nako sya pero himoon nako ang tanan, para ma depensahan nako ang belt ,' said Saludar, who has 21 wins with 11 knockouts against four loses.Saludar beat Robert Paradero of Bukidnon by a split decision to win the vacant WBA World minimumweight title last February 20 at the Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan City, Laguna.The 21-year-old Pacheco, on the other hand, is undefeated in four professional bouts.
