Police are now probing the death of a man found with stab wounds all over his body and left on a street in Barangay Damayang Lagi, Quezon City before dawn Tuesday.

According to a witness, he was walking along 14th Street in front of Galleria New Manila Townhomes at about 3:30 a.m. when he saw the bloodied body of the victim. Police identified the fatality as Elsa May Enrique-Atega, 39, resident of Kaunlaran Village, Navotas; and the injured as Leo Cantilang, 31, resident of Tondo, Manila; both teachers at Maypajo High School.Atega and Cantilang were on board a Yamaha Mio I motorcycle while Ibuyat was driving an International Harvester Tractor Head.Ibuyat suddenly swerved the truck to avoid a jeepney that stopped in the middle of the road, and hit the motorcycle that the victims were riding.

Colonel Moises Villaceran Jr., city police chief, identified the suspect as Ramil Menciano, 36, of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Pasig.
