ROUNDUP: News in and around Metro Manila (Aug. 29, 2019)

A traffic enforcer of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority was injured after getting stabbed by a snatcher on Thursday afternoon in Pasay City.

The suspect who is now under the custody of the police and will be facing charges of robbery-holdup was identified as Rolando Reank, 41, resident of Barangay 88, Pasay City. Alzona, seeing that the suspect was running heading towards the direction of Maluan-luan, shouted and asked for help. Two bystanders were injured after getting hit by a stray bullet from a drug suspect trying to evade arrest on Thursday night in Pasay City.

Investigation showed the incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. along the stretch of Sta. Rosa St., Maricaban, Pasay City.
