Romualdez pondering VP run after getting Duterte boost

Romualdez said at an online press briefing with reporters that he was “surprised but honored” with the statement of the President during a speech in Malacañang on Wednesday.Duterte told House and Senate leaders he would support Romualdez, a cousin of former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr., should he decide to run for vice president.

He said he would be running in the 2022 elections but he had not made public anything concrete about his political plans.

No more Romualdez. No more Duterte lackey!
