Vice President Leni Robredo’s Vaccine Express project will kick off in Quezon City on Thursday, August 12, to ramp up coronavirus disease vaccination in the city.
Second in Metro Manila, Robredo said the Vaccine Express will be open for the inoculation of jeepney drivers, tricycle and delivery riders for two days in the area. “Sa pakikipagtulungan sa Quezon City Government, aarangkada muli ang ating #VaccineExpress sa darating na Huwebes at Biyernes, August 12 at 13 sa Robinsons Novaliches para sa mga jeepney, tricycle at delivery riders na nakabase sa lungsod ,” she said.
The same COVID-19 vaccination program was first launched for riders in Manila last June. Over 4,500 individuals were inoculated.Outside Metro Manila, the OVP also opened the Vaccine Express in the cities of Naga and Iriga in Camarines Sur, Robredo’s home province.
