VICE President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo is seeking higher funding for science and technology in the aftermath of the coronavirus disease crisis.

Robredo stressed that finding a cure would not only depend on the skill of scientists but also on the available resources and funding. Robredo said the importance of science was only realized during a crisis such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
