The ridge of a High Pressure Area will be extending over the eastern section of Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. PAGASA forecasted heat index at 40 degrees Celsius at the NAIA, Pasay City station and 39 degrees Celsius at the Science Garden in Quezon City.
