Senate President Vicente Sotto III has called for a reality check in setting up gender-neutral restrooms in establishments, arguing toilets are"biology-based".
"Lesbians cannot stand in a male only urinals. Konting reality check naman," Sotto said, when asked about his stand on the issue. The lawmaker expressed reservations over the idea to put up a third toilet for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, saying"Maybe, but [it is] difficult to do everywhere."

This issue does need to be discussed thoroughly. What if a male maniac just dressed up as a woman but actually just wants to assault females in the restroom? I think females need to be protected from that possibility too.
