In its latest report, the NDRRMC said these fatalities were reported in Ilocos, Western Visayas, Davao, and Cordillera Administrative Region.
Of the total reported fatalities, only two have been confirmed, while the remaining 27 are still for validation, according to the NDRRMC.The reported injured individuals due to the effects of inclement weather also rose from 140 to 165.The number of total affected people breached to 3,028,040 or 805,621 families from Ilocos, Cagayan, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen, Bangsamoro, Cordillera, and Metro Manila.
Of the affected population, a total of 57,226 people or 15,473 families are staying in 648 evacuation centers while 229,831 individuals or 57,000 families are taking shelter in other places, the NDRRMC said.Damage worth P3,631,012,164 was reported for infrastructure and P 1,938,835 for agriculture. The cost of other damaged assets was at P9,977,216. The National Irrigation Administration also reported P11,431,000 worth of damage.
The NDRRMC reported 590 flooded areas—of which, 368 java already receded—as well as 33 landslides, 16 tornadoes or destructive winds incidents, 43 fallen trees, two sinkholes, and one maritime incident.Ilocos Norte
