The good news is that there is a downtrend in Covid-19 cases in Davao City. The bad news? The number of Covid-related deaths is still in double digits.

Schlosser said of the 16 deaths recorded, seven are senior citizens, four from the 50 to 59 years old age group, one from the less than five years old age group and one from the 5 to 12 years old. She reported last week that there were 19 deaths wherein majority were senior citizens, including six who already received the two-dose primary series but never had any booster shot. The other five were unvaccinated.“However, wala ni nagpasabot nga wala natay kalaban,” she said.
