The lawmaker urges the public not to take it against the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, adding that the incident was just a 'clerical error.'

— The Research Institute for Tropical Medicine on Friday apologized for its erroneous report that ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Eric Yap tested positive for COVID-19.

The RITM said Yap's results were actually a"false positive," stressing that the lawmaker"remains negative" of coronavirus infection. It added that the individual responsible for the incident was an augmentation staff from outside the regular workforce of the laboratory, and is now"being dealt with administratively."

My goodness! 😔 Error! Error! Error!

He he. Thats' a good one. Encoding error!

I dont think a mistake is acceptable at this point specially when handling results. Knowing that the dreaded disease can cause panic, fear and media frenzy.

I dont believe ..kunwari wlang covid si yap..pra di isipin ng tao n bka nahawaan si duterte..malay ntin..may covid sila ni bato at bong go

We don't. Your bosses, I'm not sure.

Papasukin nga sa Malacanang kung negative talaga.🤣🤣🤣 Someone is steering away this issue. 🤔 paybackourtaxes MassTestingPHNow

This ‘clerical error’ could have happened to others who were tested and announced positive and then confined to join the others who are really positive carriers. Just a thought.

Upon China's advise in order to clear Mr.Duterte and prevent him from taking a leave from his office and the VP could not take-over.

Pero nagpa-VIP testing pa din sya. That’s the tea. Apologize for that.

Sa PSG po?
