Speculations sparked when Averilla mysteriously appeared on Remulla’s Facebook live channel last October 15.“Ako at ako lamang ang nagsusulat ng aking mga post at mga sagot dito. Actually, ito ay kayang patunayan ng mga taong matagal nang sumusubaybay sa akin since my page started from zero. ,” Remulla wrote on his Facebook page.
According to the governor, the social media channel has been an effective tool in communicating with his constituents amid the coronavirus disease crisis. Remulla said he has never met Averilla, much less hired him to write or create content. “The gossip about me having a “ghostwriter” or “content creator” means that my writing must be impressive enough, for such naysayers to wallow in doubt,” Remulla said.
