The remains of the six passengers of the ill-fated Cessna plane in Isabela arrived at the Cauayan Airport, said the Civil Aviation Authority.

TAKING THEM HOME The retrieval teams, composed of personnel from government and disaster response agencies, carefully place in body bags the remains of the pilot and passengers of the Cessna 206 plane that crashed in the Sierra Madre forest in Divilacan, Isabela, on Jan. 24. They arrived at the town center on Sunday after a three-day retrieval operation.

MANILA, Philippines — The remains of the six passengers of the ill-fated Cessna plane in Isabela arrived at the Cauayan Airport on Tuesday, said the Civil Aviation Authority . In a statement from CAAP, the bodies of the crash victims were transported by the Philippine Air Force from Divilacan town proper in Isabela to Cauayan Airport at 8:38 a.m.Investigators from CAAP’s Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board have also arrived at the crash site to conduct a field investigation.

It can be recalled that on March 9, the Cessna’s wreckage and its deceased passengers were located in a mountainous and forested area in Divilacan.
