At a virtual press briefing on Thursday with the Transport Department, TRB Board Member Raymundo Junia said having a barrier-less tollway is the final objective for them.Junia said it takes 11 seconds per vehicle when cash is used on toll plazas, while it takes five seconds when RFID is used. Sales noted that toll operators are continually upgrading their systems while barrier-less tolling is not yet in place.[Translation: We are continually monitoring and observing their operation.]
