Raymond revealed he was publicly gay for the first time in an exclusive interview by Mega Magazine for its August issue.
“I’m here to formally say that I am a proud member of the LGBTQ community. And it feels great saying that publicly because I am,” said Raymond, as quoted by Kapamilya Online World on Facebook on Aug. 1. Raymond, 37, is the son of Filipino celebrities Eddie Gutierrez and Anabelle Rama. His twin brother is actor Richard Gutierrez. His older sister is actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez.In January, netizens called out Raymond’s attention for allegedly throwing a birthday party at a restaurant in Bonifacio Global City despite strict quarantine protocols. The event reportedly led to the closure of the establishment.
