Metro Manila –
Moderate with occasional to occasional heavy rains will still prevail over Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, and the northern portion of Ilocos Norte, and moderate with intermittent heavy rains will be experienced over Ilocos Sur, Abra, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao and the rest of Ilocos Norte, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its latest update.
Ramon, which was last seen in Roxas, Isabela, hit land at around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, PAGASA said. It weakened after making landfall in Santa, Cagayan, PAGASA added. Official forecasts suggest that it may weaken further into a low pressure area within the next 24 hours.
