MANILA, Philippines -- Philippine Sports Commission commissioner Ramon Fernandez led the COVID-19 testing on Thursday at the PhilSports Complex in Pasig City Fernandez, the newly appointed officer-i

n-charge of the PSC, was accompanied by his wife, Karla Kintanar-Fernandez.

"We will comply with the standard procedures to ensure that we are helping in curbing the spread of the virus," said Fernandez. The boxers from Baguio City are currently undergoing a 14-day quarantine, and are under observation until their test results are out. They will be provided with food, shelter, and necessary assistance from the PSC staff in the meantime.
