CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu City Vice Mayor Michael Rama wants an additional P500 million budget for coronavirus vaccines, on top of the P400 million already allocated for the procurement in the 2021 annual budget.
“We need to have close to a billion budget for vaccines so we can buy our own,” Rama told CDN Digital. Mayor Edgardo Labella said that the city will only shed funds for the vaccines once the national allotment will run out.
