“Kaya sa ating mga kababayan [sa Mindanao] maging handa at alerto tayo sa banta ng biglaang pagulan at pagguho ng lupa lalo na kung tuloy tuloy ang ulan na nararanasan,” he added.

On the other hand, the rest of Visayas will have relatively fairer weather with chances of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, the state weather service also said. Cloudy skies and rain, meanwhile, are forecast to prevail over the eastern portion of Luzon due to the influence of the northeast monsoon, locally termed amihan, as the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will generally experience fair weather conditions despite chances of isolated light rains.

No gale warning is currently raised in the country’s in-land seas and surrounding seaboards, but moderate to rough seas are still expected over the western and northern coasts of Luzon and the country’s eastern coast. As for the temperature range in key cities/areas across the country for March 15, Pagasa issued the following:Laoag City: 20 to 31 degrees CelsiusPuerto Princesa City: 24 to 32 degrees CelsiusIloilo City: 25 to 31 degrees CelsiusCagayan De Oro City: 24 to 29 degrees Celsius
