Pagasa said the easterlies and the intertropical convergence zone will trigger rain showers over most parts of the country. | DFernandezINQ

The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Calabarzon , Mimaropa , Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao can expect the same weather condition due to the ITCZ. The rest of the country, meantime, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to both weather systems.“Wala po tayong nakataas na gale warning kaya malaya pong makakapalaot ‘yung ating mga kababayang mangingisda pati na rin ‘yung may maliliit na sasakyang pandagat,” Castañeda mentioned.
