THE tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility may enter the country next week and bring rains during the Holy Week in many areas, including Metro Manila, the state-run weather agency said on Thursday.According to weather specialist Raymond Ordinario of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services , the tropical cyclone was spotted past 3 a.m. some 2, 435 kilometers east of Mindanao.

'The tropical depression may enter the country next week in time of the Holy Week and it may bring rains in areas in Visayas and Mindanao and possibly also in Metro Manila and other adjoining provinces,' Ordinario said.Meanwhile, the low pressure area inside PAR, which is currently affecting Visayas and Mindanao, has a slim chance of developing into a storm, the weather bureau said.
