Most Filipino Catholics prefer to receive cash gifts this Christmas, a survey by Church-run Radio Veritas revealed on Saturday.
Thirty-eight percent of the respondents said they wanted to receive “gifts in cash” this holiday season, while 32 percent preferred to have “gifts in kind”.Thirty-nine percent of the female respondents said they wanted to receive cash gifts, higher than the 37 percent posted by their male counterparts.
