Jun 13, 2024 08:01 AMInternational Master Daniel Quizon drew with IM Kazybek Nogerbek of Kazakhstan for a share of the second spot in the penultimate round of the 2024 FIDE World Junior Chess Championships at the Radisson Gift City in Gujarat, India on Wednesday night, June 12.
He is tied with Serbia’s Luka Budisavljevic, Kazakhstan’s Nogerbek and GM Emin Ohanyan and just half a point behind solo leader GM Mamikon Gharibyan of Armenia. He had drawn with GM Aleksey Grebnev, and Indian bets IM Ramesh Avinash, AFM Harshit Pawar, and GM Aditya S Samant.
