QC reports 81 new COVID19 cases; total now 2,853

MANILA - Quezon City on Friday reported 81 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 , raising its tally to 2,853.

The city government said 16 more people recovered from the respiratory illness, taking the number of recoveries to 1,492.From the tally of infections, some 2,772 patients have complete addresses while 1,025 are considered active. To date, Barangay Culiat has recorded the most coronavirus infections with 134, followed by Batasan Hills and Bahay Toro .

The city has placed certain areas under a 14-day special concern lockdown due to a high number of COVID-19 cases. They are Sitio Militar in Bahay Toro, Calle 29 in Libis, Kaingin Bukid in Apolonio Samson, 138 Ermin Garcia St. and 52 Imperial St., both in E. Rodriguez.
