Members of the are free to choose their own candidate, but I hope that the party supports the father of the presiding officer of the city council,” Belmonte said.
Belmonte said she has yet to pick her presidential candidate, adding that she is choosing aspirants whom she thinks are “best for the country and best for the city, someone who has the citizens at their heart, and someone who has no personal interest.”
