First to be arrested by operatives of the Quezon City Police District Drug Enforcement Unit were John Rudolf Javier, 29, and Mark Anthony Gracila, 26, both residents of Cavite.
Seized from the two men were two kilos of marijuana with an estimated street value of P240,00, the buy-bust money, cellular phones being used in their drug deals, and the suspects’ Toyota Vios. The group was nabbed during a buy-bust set by personnel of PS-2 Drug Enforcement Unit in a house at G. Araneta Street, Sitio Mendez, Brgy. Baesa at about 11 p.m.
