Officials of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) Alumni Association urged Filipinos to unite behind the government and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. amid his stance to take the latest Chinese aggression against Philippine vessels 'very seriously.

' They commended President Marcos for his position following the statement of Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro that the Chief Executive is 'giving serious weight' to the incident when Chinese ships collided with a boat contracted to provide supplies to Filipino troops in Ayungin Shoal and a vessel of the Philippine Coast Guard.

Alumni Association Secretary General Aldrin Cuna called on Filipinos to rally behind the President as China continues to harass Philippine ships on peaceful and legal missions in the country's territorial waters. Meanwhile, Commodore Jerry Simon, a member of the alumni board, urged the public to 'remain vigilant and well informed,' stressing that 'not only are our ships being rammed, the truth that is on our side is being pummeled too.
