CEBU CITY, Philippines – An investigation is now ongoing to find out why a toddler from Cebu City sustained injuries and scars while in school, photos of which went viral on social media.

“It’s already in the Office of the City Superintendent and they told me ilaha na ning gitan-aw,” Jimenez told CDN Digital in a phone interview. The post was published on April 28. In it, the parent wrote that they found multiple scars and bruises on different parts of their son’s body every time he came home from school.
