Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso encouraged businesses in the nation’s capital to prioritize Manileños when hiring new workers.

Domagoso made the call during a forum with members of the Makati Business Club held at Times Plaza in Ermita, Manila on Wednesday.

“We can prevent criminals from rampaging our streets if people have decent jobs and decent pay,” Domagoso told the Makati Business Club. Likewise, the mayor stressed that the Manila City government will cleanse its ranks of corruption, particularly in the issuance of business permits and licenses.
