President Duterte is counting on the Philippine Navy to “double the passion and commitment” in keeping peace in the country following the acquisition of the country’s first missile-capable frigate. The President sent a video message during the commissioning of BRP Jose Rizal in Subic Bay, Zambales, lauding the latest breakthrough in the Navy’s transformation.

“I convey my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Philippine Navy for always delivering the highest standard of service to our country and our people,” Duterte said in his message.
