The church-based poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting on Sunday, May 8, launched its command center for the May 2022 national and local elections.PPCRV is an accredited citizens’ arm of the Commission on Elections and its tasks include monitoring the unofficial parallel count and validating votes by checking election returns via information transmitted through their servers.

PPCRV chairperson Myla Villanueva previously stated that around half a million individuals have volunteered to work with them for the upcoming polls.
