Major power distributor Meralco has reduced electricity rates for the second straight month in March.
This implies a refund rate of ₱0.2761 per kWh for residential customers that will appear as “Dist True-Up” in customer bills. The company started implementing ERC-approved adjustments in January this year. This is a net refund of around ₱0.1150 per kWh from January to March 2021 for residential customers.
The power distributor also noted that transmission charge for residential customers increased ₱0.0022 per kWh, while taxes and other charges had a net decrease of P₱.0456 per kWh.
