The number of posts or items that will be dissolved due to rightsizing of the bureaucracy will depend on the review of the government, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said Monday.

The number of posts or items that will be dissolved due to rightsizing of the bureaucracy will depend on the review of the government, the Civil Service Commission said Monday.

However, citing a study on the Rightsizing Act of the Duterte administration, Lizada said more than 44,000 positions were previously dissolved. Asked about the concern of some groups that rank and file employees will be affected by the rightsizing, Lizada said there is a process under CSC MC 13. “So sisiguraduhin po natin at nung dapat po nung mga rank and file na i-express po nila kung ano ho ‘yung, kaya nga may consultation, so pakinggan muna natin sila and then pagaralan ng mabuti, and then ibigay natin ‘yung feedback,” she added.“Hindi ho namin ginagawa ‘yan because it is not our mandate to do it. Ang puwede po natin pagaralan dito, ang puwede gawin ng CSC ay tulungan ‘yung mga nagre-review. Like DBM is the one that started this, ‘yung idea na ito,” she said.
