Climate change is a massive problem. What can you do to help in your own way?Climate change conversations can be overwhelming. It’s a massive problem with widely destructive consequences, and it can seem as though there is nothing that can be done.

We’re a developing country. It’s us, the third world country, that takes the brunt of climate change. We’re just getting our stuff together as countries and yet, we’re already forced to pull it together when it comes to these disasters. As a PR practitioner, I find ways to be able to practice sustainability in how my clients do things. On a personal level, it’s being mindful of the different Rs — reducing, reusing, recycling — whenever I can.It’s a continuous effort to make change or to do something better. I avoid using plastic bags. So I always have an eco-bag with me in my car, in the office, in my bag. So when I go shopping, I always ask nalang to put it in my bag. Kahit paper, iniiwasan ko na rin kasi trash din siya.
Change or dismiss all elective public officials who are not committed to take action to mitigate climate change preparedness.
