A cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy was dismissed for allegedly stealing his classmates’ allowances, an official said Friday.

“The story behind this, siya kasi ang authorized ng kaniyang classmates to withdraw for and on their behalf of the allowance. Unfortunately, sumobra ang winithdraw niya. It is already an act of stealing, which is a gross violation of the honor code,” Gonzaga told dzBB’s Super Radyo. Meanwhile, the PNPA is implementing programs and policies against maltreatment following the death of one of their underclassmen who was beaten to death by a senior cadet in 2021.
