The franchise's newest game, Pokémon Unite, was announced this Wednesday, and it's very similar to a MOBA , such as League of Legends or DOTA 2.

Fans can check out more of the gameplay, which, much like other MOBAs, involves two teams of five battling each other to complete objectives, in the Pokémon Presents stream below: Watch more in iWant or TFC.tv The game is being developed by Tencent's TiMi Studios, the same studio behind Call of Duty: Mobile.

It is being billed as the first strategic team-based Pokemon battle game, and will be available for free on both the Nintendo Switch and mobile, with cross-play for multiplayer.
