[PODCAST] Ang hirap at gutom na dinaranas ng mga jeepney driver

MANILA, Philippines – Tinaguriang hari ng kalsada ang mga jeepney. Ngunit sa gitna ng pandemya, humaharap sa matinding pagsubok ang mga jeepney driver.Lumabas din nitong mga nakaraang linggo ang maraming report tungkol sa hirap na dinaranas ng mga drayber dahil hindi sila makapamasada. Ginugutom na raw ang kanikanilang pamilya.

Sa episode na ito, pag-uusapan nina Rappler reporter Aika Rey at researcher-writer Jodesz Gavilan kung bakit humantong sa ganitong sitwasyon ang mga jeepney driver, at kung ano ang ginagawa ng gobyerno para tulungan sila. Kahit na pinayagan na mamasada ang ilang jeepney simula Hulyo 3, hindi lahat ay maaaring makabalik. Ayon kay Rey:
