The Philippine National Police on Thursday vowed justice for the two police officers who were killed and the four others wounded in a Wednesday night
The PNP said it would “do everything within its power and authority to serve the ends of justice” for the deaths of Patrolman Saipoden Shiek Macacuna and Patrolman Bryan Polayagan.It likewise sought justice for the attempt on the lives of Patrolman Arjie Pabinguit, Patrolman Abdulgafor Alib, Police Staff Sergeant Benjie de los Reyes, and Police Chief Master Sergeant Rey Vincent Gertos.
“This inhumane act of the unidentified suspects while our personnel is conducting a routinary mobile patrol to ensure the safety and security of everybody is a loud call to the community that we should work hand-in-hand to eradicate this kind of criminal act,” PNP said in a statement.
