The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said it has resolved almost 23,000 cases of infractions and misdemeanors among its personnel from July 2016 to January 2023.

The Philippine National Police on Tuesday said it has resolved almost 23,000 cases of infractions and misdemeanors among its personnel from July 2016 to January 2023.

“From July 1, 2016 hanggang January this year ay umabot na po ng almost 23,000 na cases ang na-resolve po ng PNP for various infraction at misdemeanor po ng ating hanay,” PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo said in The Mangahas Interviews. “At ito naman po ay hindi ipinagwawalang bahala lalong lalo na po ng ating current leadership at 'yung ating internal cleansing efforts ay nagtutuloy-tuloy po 'yan even beyond po ng previous administration,” she added.that were investigated by the Department of Justice .

“For your information ay nag-participate po at nakipag-cooperate po ang PNP doon po sa ginagawang investigation ng DOJ. We provided them the necessary documents that are needed para doon sa ongoing investigation,” she said.as part of the government's efforts to rid the police force of officers involved in the illegal drug trade.have submitted their courtesy resignation.
